Meet Nancy, an amazing artist local to Bellingham, WA. She specializes in abstract painting. Nancy needed some nice pictures of herself to use when advertising her business and for ‘about me’ blurbs. When I arrived at her studio, she already had an awesome background setup with canvases and backdrops already hung. She was insistent on posing in the exact same way for the pictures as she does when painting, and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. She sported sneakers that were covered in a rainbow of paint, ones she uses while working, it was a great touch.
We took a variety of shots of Nancy on the rustic old wood floor and on her painting latter. We both had a few laughs during the shoot, and Nancy got some great shots of herself in her element to use for her business.
